McElhinny Brothers was established by Edward, Charles, and Raymond McElhinny, along with their sons Joseph and Michael. In 1964, the company began as a small residential contracting firm. By 1991, under the leadership of Joseph's son, Chris McElhinny, the organization expanded significantly, becoming a prominent name in both residential and commercial contracting. In 2021, Chris's son, Kevin, assumed the role of President, bringing his Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management from Penn State and 20 years of practical experiencE WITHIN THE COMPANY STARTING AS THE "GARBAGE BOY" AT AGE 12 AND MOVING UP THROUGH THE GOMPANY AS A LABORER, CARPENTER AND PROJECT MANAGER. As the NEWEST generation to lead McElhinny Construction, he values the company’s extensive history while focusing on its future growth. McElhinny Brothers takes pride in its highly skilled team of craftsmen and experienced subcontractors. Outside of his professional commitments, Kevin DEDICATES his time to being a father and coach to his four children, who may potentially carry on the family legacy as the fifth generation of leaders.
